Chouteau a Montierender is written on the face of the clock. It has an inlay around the front of some sort of rock or shale. I received it from some relatives, much older than me, who had brought it back from Europe.
It is about 3 or more inches thick--it hangs on the wall. It has a beautiful chime.
I don't know much else about it because I cant find any like it here....

      Hi,
Your clock appears to be French. It's commonly known in France as an Oeil de Boeuf (bull's eye) clock. It was probably made in the 1890's-1920's area. If you could share a picture or two of the movement, that could help identify the marker. Nice clock!
      Regards.
