    A wonderful glazed lamp base which might be designed by Marianne Starck for the Danish pottery Michael Andersen & Sons on the island of Bornholm.

    the glaze is called Persia technique, a special craquelee technique which has been developed at the Michael Andersen pottery.

    Marianne Starck was the leading artist at Michael Andersen pottery for decades and made a lot of great designs there.
