The body, though turquoise color is glass cab! Gold, rosecut diamonds and little ruby eyes, full of cruelty ;-)
2.5/8" long, fly is 1/2".

i love the cabochon but the insect thing still makes me shiver :)
Your arthropod collection is magnifique and surprisingly a lot of what you might use to bring these back to life is not that different from preserving the real insects. Total beauty is what you achieve !~
