it's a well pump
This model would have been for use in a kitchen to draw water from a well or cistern.

did you see my well pump? it was made in iowa, where was yours made?
I have actually known a few people that had these operational in their old farmhouse and taken them out because they were to big and got in their way. Some people have no respect!
