Kathy here is a picture of my little trunk. It is 12 " long x 8" wide x 10 " tall. I want to replace the Handles at some point. I have enough of the old handle to trace out new ones . The straps on the front I replaced they are copies of the original piece. I should say pieces. The leather is so old and brittle it just turns to dust. If anyone Knows where I can get a couple of the brass buttons I,am missing two of them.
Beautiful trunk, I love the original interior it is great condition for the age. You are lucky to have the complete interior, they typically get lost or broken over the years. One of mine was missing the interior the other had the tray but no hat box.
I haven't located any place that sells hardware for these toy trunks.
Thanks for posting pictures of this beautiful trunk - in the pictures it looks like it is sitting on a restored large flat top trunk. You will have to share pictures of your other trunks.
