The timber is very soft and smooth and quite light, would it be cedar, it has a strong grain in it and no knots?
It's also quite old, the joinery looks almost primitive, colonial?
The handles are solid well made steel.
Would love to know if it's cedar? Found it on the side of the road, dumped in council cleanup.. drawers slide in/out very easily, do not stick..
Early made dovetails, meaning hand rather than machine made.
