Here are a few of my crucifixes. I'm not sure what my obsession is w/ old Catholic symbols, because i'm pretty much a non-religious person. my family is very Catholic though and i have some good memories associated w/ the church. i just found the first one and it seems pretty old. it looks like it's survived a fire too.

Religious our not they are works of art. I really like the old headstones and religious paintings all the hell fire stuff. Bit of a goth I guess.
i can relate to the goth bit! i was a big fan of bauhaus back in the early 80s. they are laden w/ deep emotion from centuries of prayer and beliefs...
That is too true went through a thing like that in the 80s still my fav type of furniture is the big German pieces with gargoyle's and religious symbols.
oh yeah! the comfy furniture! [not!] but still cool!

my favorites are definitely the 2nd and 3rd ones. the 3rd one is a really wonderful, deeply emotional and very artistic one. art nouveau and period or soon after - 1910 - 1930.
