Talavera Frog Pitcher from Mexico

I'm going to have to look up this signature. it appears to be talavera, but there is a mark on the bottom - GTO - which is for Guanajuato - where my family has a place. all the official talavera workshops are in Puebla, so i'm confused. it's a great little piece!
