    Cast iron crimper? 11 1/2 inches long. Walnut base plate. This item has no markings at all.
    It has serrated jaws that are curved and tapered.
    Closed it is 15/16 " and tapers to 5/8 x 2" long.

      Rob, thanks, when I got this I was told it was a door knocker ! why does this one not have any of the logo and numbers, they do not seam to be removed with a file or grinder. why. thanks

      "Why does this one not have any of the logo and numbers..." Very possibly it was a knock-off by someone who was violating the patent and didn't want it to get traced back to him.
