I have a piece I've had for years very similar in materials and stitching and am sorry to say I haven't any information on it either. I thought I could upload a picture it may help in identyfying your piece as it has beadwork depicting faces and lizards and might be easier to help determine its origin. Particularly the materials used in the back and the perimeter stitching. I will upload under..."lostandthenfound" good luck let me know how it goes.
