A real stunning silver dolphin paperweight by the great silversmith Omar Ramsden circa 1933. I'm trying to find out who commissioned such a beautiful item. It's around 20.32 cm in height by 6.35 cm with four moonstones at each corner on a black marble plinth.

I suggest you email the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and send photos. There is no way to trace a possible commission piece without a provenance.

Thank you for your comment Efesgirl, yes I own this item. I will contact the V&A I've been trying to find the provenance of the dolphin. I'll let you know what I find out.
