Antique heavily beaded brain tanned leather native American Item.

Heavily beaded antique or vintage Native American item with glass African trade beads and Venetian seed beads The seedbeads are stitched to what appears to be solid deerhide(but not sure whats underneath)There is also 2 strands of either brass or copper beads. They have a visible seam and show good patina.The leather appears to be deerskin and appears old. It measures 7 inches and is pretty heavy.Im quite certain that its not a souvenir "key chain" but Im at a loss for its past use.
