He Bears A Resemblance To......

I bought this jointed bear. He is 10½" tall. He has very long arms and his nose sticks out. Looks like he is made of mohair. There is a chain around his neck with a round tag that has Bare Bear on one side and the other side reads: cm Bear 055/500. He also has a cloth tag on his back that has cm Bears and 055/500 on it. I cannot find anything online about him or who made him.
