Cooler was rusting away and I brought it back to life.dont think I would use it again but fun to look at..
Coca cola from 1950. Rusted out n restored . Went with red letters n black paint . 1 | ||

How did you do the embossed Coca Cola ? Paint or decal ? The black looks like a body shop shot it.

Taped letters n cut coca cola out slowly. I painted it in a paint booth ..
It takes a real artist to hand paint the letters. Very few people have that skill. Takes years of practice. You did a great job with your method. Looks very well done with no bleeding color from the tape.
Did you use clear paint for the final coat ?
I've done a few .. I posted a white and red cooler. Also . On this black 1 , I painted cooler with to coats of black . Let it dry good . I taped and cut letters , then two coats of red . Took tape off letters and 3 coats of clear .
