      What is this used for? The long piece of sterling metal does not really fit into the slots of the dragon figural

      Could it be a hair ornament? Asian women often wore elaborate hairstyles and wigs with ornate hair pins. The dragon would have been a popular motif for a hair pin or ornament. It is very lovely.
