Wild & Crazy Massive Vintage Plastic Earrings

I received these earrings as a bonus recently with some other items I purchased. The earrings are rather large, some type of plastic, and two are on card stocked marked "Made in Italy".

Is there anyone who is familiar with this type of material, or Italian made jewelry that could provide me information please?
