Not sure which period this bronze Foo Dog or lion is from . Approx 20 X 10 cm. Looks like an incense burner, but not.

This is a modern reproduction of an archaic chinese bronze.
Shang (or in the style of) dynasty repro.

This is a classic modern fantasy reproduction—there’s no authentic ancient Chinese bronze vessel with this combination of ox form, lid beast, and mixed Zhou dynasty motifs. The patina is artificial, and the casting is modern sand-cast, not ancient piece-mold technique.
