I found a Charlie Chaplin wind up here:
      http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/6699749
It gives a little info on the company
A vintage ad with diagram of the mechanism, including a drawing of your baby can be seen here: http://books.google.es/books?id=-REzBp--LI8C&pg=PA18&lpg=PA18&dq=walking+toys+gee&source=bl&ots=UpoDA1aI_A&sig=U1axKqQ4IkxP51wCcRCsRAosaRA&hl=es&ei=041YTqv6FIy38QOtksG9DA&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=6&ved=0CE8Q6AEwBQ#v=onepage&q=walking%20toys%20gee&f=false

That is really awesome you found that Gund was "Gee" The patented was 1915, that also is cool. I would say you have a little treasure there.
