Westminster 1940-50s Unicorn (Generic German) Mantle Clock. Movement in excellent condition, case in relatively good condition. This will be a long-term project as I'll need to purchase a new bezel/dial and they don't come cheap. However, very little work is required to bring it back, a freshen of shellac rather than full-scale restoration is always welcome. The veneer used is traditional Walnut, but with the front face of White Walnut. I'll post pictures of the result in the future.

Am also looking for a deco style bezel similar to this with the wood showing through... but not much luck!
It's not easy to find matching hardware from the thousands of different styles out there and the condition in most cases is not worth it unless you're very lucky. An alternative is to buy new, all sizes are still available and in almost identical format to the original, chapter rings, and bezels. Yes, you will lose full originality, but end up with a potentially far superior piece :)
