Mid Century sofa

I picked up this sofa at a garage sale a few weeks ago. We originally were looking for a second hand sofa we could use until we could find a new one we liked but after finding this sofa we've decided to keep it. I know zip about furniture so I thought I'd post it to see if someone could shed a light on it.
Under the cushion there's a label that says:

Unimold Furniture by Wieland of Bay City, Michigan

I looked online and found a tiny bit here on Wieland Furniture:

I'm curious to know what year this sofa was manufactured, the style and if it's worth enough to keep it as it is. We love the style so we're considering reupholstering it. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!
