    Looking for information to identify this desk. I have owned for 25 years acquired from mother. Haven’t been able to find anything that resembles this desk.

      Looks a lot like the 1970's but on a higher end scale than was the usual. At that time there were still companies that were putting out good or better quality than most of the traditional styles. There was Baker and Henredon which put out furniture that harkened to the good antique styles. Unfortunately the web or net is not the best place to look for the furniture that they made as about 90% never made it to the computer world. The web is too new. I look at what catalogs that I have bought or my extensive book collection which shows how lacking the internet really is. I hope you find your set, I will keep my eyes open !~

      Phil, thank you for the information. I have a number of antiques is there books I can purchase to help identify them?
