I've had this bowl for a long time, but just began researching it before I give it away as a wedding present. It is signed with a picto-mark of an eagle silhouette. The honey color of the clay indicates First Mesa. The interior painting is of an eagle is excellent quality. I've been able to come up with the name Lorraine Shula for potters who sometimes used the eagle pictograph, but couldn't find many pieces by her and none with this mark.
The bowl also has the remains of a sticker on the bottom and I can make out '72' and an 'H', but that is all.
I'd love to know who made the pot and when. Thank you!
