    Lot of vintage military pins. I believe the one with the three stars is for the rank of Lieutenant General, but I am not sure for which branch of the service. I think some of the pins are called Distinguishing Unit Insignia pins but I am unsure of what the represent. There is a very small triangle pin with "I / 15/ A M" on it. Any help is appreciated.

      The pins on the left side are DISTINCTIVE Unit Insignia (DUI)-- I am not sure of the units.

      The small ribbon with stars looks like a WW2 era Japanese Sergeant Major rank.

      Below that the gold shield with eagle is US rank for Specialist-5. It is the equivalent in pay to a Sergeant, but represents a soldier NOT in a leadership position. This was used in the US Army through the late 70s/ early 80s but the rank no longer exists.

      The large wing looks like it is a Master Parachutist badge-- not US.

      The caduceus with "MS" is Medical Service Corp insignia for an officer (US).

      The blue backed helmet and shield is a United States Military Academy (West Point) DUI for cadre.

      The small triangle pin is a 15 years of service pin for the International Association of Machinists. I recently came across three of these pins and found your old post here while researching them.
