I'm guessing the bottle on the left was a wine decanter ? I'm not sure how old either one are or what they were used for. The smaller bottle on the right has markings on the bottom of the bottle that say, " I k 4549 and above it looks like a H over an A. The taller bottle doesn't have any markings.
Could anyone tell me any information ?
looks like the larger bottle has a plastic stopper insert from the pics. The Hazel Atlas mark is an "A" under the bar of an "H" but not sure what or of they had a name for the pattern.
Your large decanter is the Wexford pattern by Anchor Hocking. First introduced in 1967, some items continued to be produced through the years, even up to the early 2000's. With the plastic stopper on the end of the glass cap, your decanter is a newer piece of Wexford as the original wouldn't have the plastic piece on it. And by "newer" I simply mean not made in the first few years of Wexford's production. My parents were married in 1970 and sometime around then, they bought this same decanter. It, too, has the plastic piece on the glass cap so your decanter is probably from the 70's or 80's. It's nice that it still has the cap because so many you see nowadays don't. It's a nice pattern with a classic design. Enjoy!
