This is a wooden frame with intricate scroll work. It has an image of a man on a horse stabbing what looks like an alligator or crocodile. It has the letters Ar Rewprioc. A figure of a person in a long robe and crown standing in front of a tower is in the background.
I'm really curious to know more about it.
AR. REWPRIOC are actually GREEK letters. This is a Greek Orthodox SILVER icon depicting St. George slaying the dragon. The figure by the castle I would assume to be the Virgin, Mary. The "r" is actually GAMMA, the E, EPSILON, the W is Omega, the P is RHO, then another GAMMA, so you have G-E-O-R-G.....get the idea?
