This is a very large vintage ring I got a few years ago. I have a soft spot for amethyst and the colour purple. It's hard to tell by looking at the pictures but this ring has a very strange hue of purple. Could this be a different stone?

This looks to be an Amethyst...I love Amethysts and this is just more a lower quality gemstone of quartz with inclusions...NICE!!.......very pretty!!!
