This is a pair of silver earrings I found last week. They are rather simple and large - and that is the reason I like them. However, I cannot figure out the maker's mark. Can anybody help, please?

It looks to be the partial word [Tai]wan.

Thanks davyd286. It's possible. It is remarkable how much better one can see details on the enlarged photos than with a magnifying glass! I'll keep that in mind next time I want to see something!
