One of two Cairns 650 Seamless helmets in my collection.

This helmet is one of two Cairns 650 Seamless helmets I have in my collection. This one was from the Stamford CT FD. The 650 Seamless looks like a cross between the one posted by afdjake and a 5A New Yorker. According to someone at Cairns, the 650 Seamless was manufactured between about 1947 until the mid-to-late 1950s. I’ve only seen two other helmets of this type on the internet, both on the websites of other collectors.
