Probably junk :) but I could not resist buying.
It is about 18" tall, and has the round cap.
Amazing details with very vibrant colors.

I was hoping this is Japanese, but my Japanese manager told me it is not.
Any ideas?

I don't think its junk, whether its old or new, its very pretty to look at with a lot going on in it. I picked up a pair similar, different shape & not old or as nice as this, but they were cheap & look good, some people see them and think they're really expensive antiques:)
