this is an odd shaped cup? dish? Mug?
Has a nice painting on the front, hard to show everything in 4 picture. (can se some in the first picture.
the short end is 2" the tall side is 3"
The bottom is 2 1/2 to 2 3/4" oblong
The top is 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 oblong
The back reads C.T. Takahashi & Co Inc
Seattle, 4, Washington
The bottom reads "hand painted" "Japan"

I have called the company and they do not know what it is, all I found out is that it is dated between 1943-1963 (before zip codes were 5 digits)
