    Hand axe. Handle is made of wood. Blade is made of steel. Says steel made in Canada on the blade. Not sure how old this hand axe is.

      This might be an old antique shake hatchet. It would be used for installing rough shakes. The edge would be splitting and shaping and the hook on the head for pulling nails.
