Doll Identification

This was my mother's doll when she was a child. She was born in 1928. I have looked everywhere on this doll to find some sort of identification to know avail. She is made of fabric of some kind; her body and head being rigid and her neck is clearly a knit. She stands 12" tall, has jewelry on both arms and even has finger nails that look like real nails. I have searched online to find anything like her to determine who made it. Does anyone here recognize her? Thank You
