I can see why you would think that when you see similar pieces in a search, but even their early pieces were stamped with a “D”.
This is referred to as a comport in the UK, compote in the USA, and blue & white tin glaze or blue flow. Not sure if I would refer to it as majolica, if you want to research it further

I live in Australia and thought that the way to identify these pieces was a google search of blue and white images. I came across Rubylane listings and saw what appeared to be an identical compote, except for the height. They called it majolica.
I've just checked the bottoms of the 4 plates and comport and there are no markings, with the exception of one plate which has 2 tiny blue marks - like an equals sign.
I will add a photo if possible.
