    Size is 4 inches wide, about 5" tall, and maybe 3" thick.
    It is a bank (slot on back, hole on bottom). Smooth on the outside, feels ceramic.

    My Dad was in the postal service for many years, and this reminds me of him. I can't find any information about it though. Doesn't appear to have any markings, other than a sticker on the bottom indicating 1975. Maybe the year bought or ??

    Anyone have any idea who made it?

      Hi!
      It's very cute! Most of these items were made in japan, but you said there isno markings on this one except the sticker. I do suspect there was one that also said made in japan, or someone made it from a mold. If that's the case they don't garner much. It sure is nice though! Enjoy it it!

      I think my older brother had one of these when we were kids, it was red and maybe from about the 60's. Yes, his was ceramic.
