Unusual Tribal Statue

These were also part of the estate. These are carved in very heavy wood. There is also a difference in the hair braids on the forehead. I would love to know if there is a reason for the difference in the hair and the head dress. One appears to be a bowl and the other is a bowl in the opposite direction with buns in it.
