A friend found this in a box belonging to her deceased grandfather. It's 3.5" long and is razor sharp. The photo of the symbol stamped on the top edge of this strange blade should be a clue. Any ideas of what this is would be very much appreciated!

There is one these on EVILBAY right now listed as a straight razor or a blood letting tool, check it out!

Thanks very much! They do look very similar. I wonder if the unusual mark on top of the blade means it was imported?

This is a late 19th thru mid-20th century shaving razor hand-forged in China. They are often miss-identified as "Revolutionary War" razors or other exotic but specious claims.
