      Back shot to show the narks if any would be helpful.

      I think he is Shojo .... a kind of Japanese sea spirit with a red face and hair and a fondness of alcohol.

      He appears as a character in a Noh play of the same name too.

      took a few years but stemina wins , the famous artist TSUHJI ICHIDO early early showa , this is extremely rare
