Ok so i got this necklace a few weeks ago in a lot when I first saw it I thought it was carnelian? however I am not stone or gem expert there are little black flecks in the beads they are truely beautiful!
could anyone please help me in telling me what material or stone this piece is made from? and era also

Could be agate beads. Could also be glass. Too difficult to tell from just looking at photos. The barrel clasp look fairly recent, so this would be a contemporary rather than a vintage necklace. Not possible to give you an exact time frame.
