Silver ring with genuine rubies. This was my grandmother's ring I believe she got it in portugal it might be older and passed down to her I'm not sure. Was really just curious about it. It's unique to me since it's flat on the bottom instead of round. Thanks in advance

It's a beautiful ring. Are there any marks inside the band? Can't tell you very much about it as there is really no information available. The ring is top heavy, so the flat bottom on the shank helps to keep the ring from spinning on your finger.
No markings other than the silver
It's not too heavy at all very light ring
I've had other rings with the flat bottoms. They are more stable on the finger than rings with circular shanks.
What do you mean by "markings other than the silver"? Is it an American or European mark? Very pretty ring. :)
