    I just got started collection early decanters and still trying to ID them. I believe it is a Georgia plain barrel circa 1800? It measures 8 1/2" without the stopper and right around 11" with the stopper. It has 3 neck rings and a very distinct pontil mark at bottom.

      Very nice decanter. When you say Georgia, do you mean the state or Georgian style ?

      I presume then you meaning Georgia the state in the US, as this does look to be a US period decanter.

      Not Georgia the sate, my mistake it is a Georgian style decantaer.
