I purchased this mug at an auction in Southern IL. I am new to collecting. I this Monmouth or Western pottery? Are they one and the same? What would this "pattern" be? When would it have been made? Please accept my thanks in advance for your help.

Does anyone know if Monmouth and Western pottery are the same? Has anyone seen this mug before?

According to Kovel's Auction House, the maple leaf mark was used until 1930 on Monmouth pottery.
