Kemple Milk Glass

Covered plate milk glass by Kemple Glass in the pattern Sheaf of Wheat/Diamond and Shell. It has a W within a circle on the back. I was thinking this was a butter dish but the lid does not stand too high on the plate. The lid may not go with the plate at all, though it fits nicely.
