I found this at a yard sale for 50 cents ,I thought it would make a great paperweight ,it is very pretty , but I'm not sure if it is glass or a piece of amethyst , I've heard that glass starts out cool but gets warm to the skin but stones remain cold and this remains cold but it looks like glass.
I think it's glass. It has bubbles.
Thanks martika! I should have known, I have been coming across these odd pieces such as this in various colors and large unfinished forms , is this becoming a trend in art glass or abstract paperweights?
