Heavy (1lb 4oz), 12" tailor shears/scissors from the R. (Rochus) Heinisch Co. of Newark, NJ, who manufactured these scissors from 1835 through 1914. Hard to believe these scissors are over 100 years old!
The scissors still work perfectly, and cut so cleanly and smoothly! You can tell from the wear on the thumb ring just how often and continuous these have been used through the years (the black finish having been worn down smooth to the bare metal).
Looking forward to many more years of use.
