Large ceramic bowl 15 inches across. Bright purple,blue,pinks and greens. My wife calls it a spaceship bowl. Signed on base CASSR, I think. Doesn’t seem like a old piece, but I like the bright colors and hope someone has some information on the piece. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for response, I looked Tagine up and I think that’s what it must be. I’ll tell my wife we have a Tagine spaceship. Thanks again.
Interesting piece, I immediately thought Hungarian - but looks like Tagines would likely be North African in origin.
Did a little research and CASSR could stand for Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic - though that would date the piece circa late 1936-45. Or CASSR could just be an abbreviation for casserole. ????
