Found this 1800s signed on hand gaurd not on blade its iron with marks on it wood holder wood handel todal lanth 37 " held together with string iron copper & brass blade hope u can help with info on it thanks

The hand gaurd is the same as my from that time the age is there .just want to find some kind of history and hopfully the name of maker that would really help to date it
