Please help! What is this? It is incredibly heavy and has an inscription on the bottom. One staff seems to be broken off.

Thank you for the info! I am more curious now. It was my grandmother’s. She had interesting pieces like this all over her house!

I posted a bronze Guan Yin statue so you can easily compare.
Enjoy these. They are all quite wonderful.
It is Chinese or Japanese made, thousand arms Kuan Yin. The characters/kanji on the 2 hands in the last picture mean sun and moon, respectively. The mark is the maker's mark, cannot read. Seems to be iron cast, but what is with that copper piece? In my opinion, it is Chinese. Outstanding, looks like ~1900. It is a treasure.
