Hanging ceiling light.. does anyone know what year or artist? I'm having a hard time reading the signature.

I think it could be porcelain or opaline milk. Not sure if the artwork is hand painted but I think could be from England

I have the identical lamp but without the decorations. Mine is slag glass. It came with a house I bought in the late 1980's. The house was built in the early 70's. The lamp could have been made before that. I don't know that:)

Thank you Friheit! After searching your suggestion of slag glass, I researched more and found out it is made from Currier & Ives. Solved!

Although I have solved who makes the lamp, I still haven't been able to read the signature for the artwork. If anyone has any guesses please let me know!
