    I think that's what it is. Maybe early 20th c? I've seen quite a few of these, and the quality isn't quite there in this one, but it's still a rare and desirable thing.

      peranakan , because it reads WAng Shensu probably, so its late 1900 , thats not bad i, have seen much worse, as far as i can see which is very little it is a ferro red mark that aint bad either

      cant be far off the ornament strip is Ashtamangala, i have to guess a sort of early guanghu period

      i am guessing !

      thank you apostata. i have no doubt you are very close to the mark. i really love Peranakan, Nyonya Straits, Bencharong, Pre-Bencharong, etc...
