black leather STRESSLESS recliner chair

Dirty but intact, this is a STRESSLESS reclining chair by EKORNES in black leather upholstery with chrome arms and swivel pedestal. Made in Norway, one seam in the seat has opened (not seen in these pics) and there's minor surface rust in a few places on the metal, but I'm pretty confident it will clean up nicely with some good leather cleaner and elbow grease. I also have its matching ottoman, but didn't realize I hadn't taken any pics of that.

I almost let this one 'get away' from an estate cleanout because it looks sorta sad, but looked twice at what it was when moving it out of the way and noticing that it is rather heavy for its size. Then I saw the name on it (which I *have* heard of?!) so into the truck it (and the ottoman) went. With a little further research it seems this was likely a rather expensive chair when new, so hopefully will be worth my effort to clean it up and sit in it one of these days. I don't know exactly how old it is, but Stressless started making them in 1971, this example could possibly date from the late 70's anyway...?
